In 2005, Lorri Shealy Unumb wrote unprecedented autism insurance for South Carolina. Ryan's Law, named for her son who has autism, passed in 2007 and has served as the catalyst for autism insurance reform on the national level.
Unumb was the Morning Fill Up guest Wednesday as the Numad Group welcomed her to The Garage in Rapid City.
