In 2014 Jolene's Law Task Force was convened to study the impact of child sexual abuse in South Dakota. The group was named for Jolene Loetscher, a survivor of child sexual abuse. South Dakota State Senator Deb Soholt served as chair.

Loetscher has joined us on In the Moment several times, and every time we say ... this is important. We need to talk about it again. Today, we have a conversation about protecting our children and building communities that help prevent child abuse and build resilience.

Joining us today are Jolene Loetscher, survivor/advocate, Dr. Nancy Free, Child's voice at Sanford Health,
Cameron Corey, Department of Criminal Investigations and Carrie Sanderson, Director of the Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment.

The Help Line Center is another resource that one can utilize.
