The Pfizer booster shot is now available on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation for elders and those with high risk or serious complications of COVID-19.

The Indian Health Service will provide booster shots for those who have received the primary Pfizer shots at least six months ago.

People who should get the booster include those 65 years and older, residents in long-term care settings as well as people between the ages of 50 to 64 with underlying medical conditions.

People between 18 and 49 years with underlying medical conditions, and those between 18 through 64 who are at increased exposure to COVID-19, are also eligible for the booster.
