Class AA Boys Basketball | SDPB State Championship Coverage

James Valley Christian is ready to once again play in a state basketball tournament. The Lady Vikings defeated Lemmon last week in the SoDak 16 to punch their ticket to the state ‘B’ tournament.

Ruth Dreamer was a standout basketball player for Pine Ridge. Now, she has taken on a new challenge as the boys basketball coach for the Oelrichs Tigers.

Mark Senftner lost his battle with cancer in 2022 but his legacy lives on not only with the athletes that came through his program but with a new court dedicated in 2023.

The 2024 SDHSAA state basketball championships are upon us. Sioux Falls, Brookings and Rapid City will host the girls tournaments on March 7-9, while Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Aberdeen will host the boys tournaments on March 14-16.
