With the 49th pick in the 2018 National Football League draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Dallas Goedert, tight end, Britton, SD and South Dakota State University. This week, another tight end from the Mt. Rushmore state will also hear his name called – Tucker Kraft.

The show must go on. This June, one of the biggest youth sports camps in South Dakota will return to Brookings for its third year. It’s called the ‘Cash Money Youth Skills Camp.’

The South Dakota State University football team was in Pierre on Wednesday as they were honored at the state capitol for their recent National Championship accomplishment.

When South Dakota State University won the FCS National Championship on Sunday in Frisco, it became more than just winning the FCS’s highest honor. It was validation for the years and years of hard work, but most importantly, it proved that the Jackrabbits can truly be the best, and not just on paper.

For the first time ever, South Dakota State and North Dakota State will bring their rivalry in football to the national championship stage. The Jackrabbits are looking for their first national title, while the Bison look for their tenth.
