The Avon Pirates are playing without senior Ashley Tolsma during their state tournament run. So why is Ashley missing the state tournament? We asked their Coach Paul Kuhlman.

Mobridge-Pollock, the seventh seed at this year’s ‘B’ state softball tournament, upset two seeded Bon Homme in high scoring affair, 17-10, in Thursday’s quarterfinal round.

The 2025 SDHSAA state softball tournaments began on Thursday from Sioux Falls and Aberdeen. Augustana University is hosting the Class AA tournament, while the Players Complex in Aberdeen is housing Class A and B.

He never won a state wrestling title in South Dakota but later became a national wrestling champ and wound up being an Olympic bronze medalist in the '88 Seoul Olympics and a silver medalist in the '92 Barcelona Olympics. Dennis Koslowski joins Craig Mattick on this edition of In Play.
