The state tournaments for the inaugural season of high school softball in South Dakota will take place this week on June 1-3 in Aberdeen.

Teams have punched their tickets to the inaugural state sanctioned softball tournaments in South Dakota. All three classes held their SoDak16 playoff round on Tuesday night.

The SoDak 16 is set for all three classes of high school softball in South Dakota. This year marks the first sanctioned season with the sport in the Mt. Rushmore State.

Andrea Miller put together one of the best batting performances of the season on Monday where she hit four home runs, yes, four, to help lift the Raiders to a 26-15 win over Viborg-Hurley. She went 4 for 5 in six plate appearances. All four of her hits went over the fence.

Today's guest, one of the all-time great girls' basketball players in South Dakota. She scored more than 2,000 points in her high school career and was named South Dakota's Miss Basketball. Megan Mahoney joins Craig Mattick on this edition of In Play.
