Track & Field - SDPB State Championship Coverage

The 2025 SDHSAA state track & field meet began from Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls on Friday. Day one saw fourteen state meet records broken between the prelims, track finals, and field events.

The 2025 SDHSAA state track and field meet will take place this week from Howard Wood Field on Thursday through Saturday, May 29th to May 31st. SDPB will provide live coverage through all three days of the event.

On this edition of In Play, Craig Mattick talks with Terry Nielsen, John Papendick, and Alex Heinert about their relationship and memories of the Howard Wood Relays.

He was the first class A wrestler in South Dakota to win four straight wrestling titles. He's a former Watertown Arrow and SDSU Jackrabbit. Rick Jensen joins Craig Mattick on this edition of In Play.
