A new acquisition by the National Music Museum seeks to preserve history while opening an artistic window for the future.
The donation includes five cellos, 27 bows, a Hawaiian guitar and other materials. These instruments will be preserved, studied, admired and even played.
Arian Sheets is the National Music Museum's curator of stringed instruments. Phillip Kass is the collection's appraiser.
They discuss the acquisition and how each piece is a work of art.
