The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra takes the stage this weekend for a season finale and a party.
We get a sneak peek of the celebration marking Maestro Delta David Gier's 20 years at the symphony, as well as the end of the season.
Gier joins us to look back at two decades of music and change under his leadership. We also learn why he chose Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 3 as his "party piece."
The SDSO will perform on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. local time in Sioux Falls. Plus, historian Joseph Horowitz gives the Concert Insights presentation starting at 6:30 p.m.
