The United States needs a strong national energy policy but nationally, we can’t seem to agree on whether it’s hot or cold. This constant bickering and nitpicking blocks the nation from taking meaningful action. Meanwhile, earlier this month, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere hit a level higher than it has for millions of years.
