New Wild Kingdom Season Begins

KSFY

The new season of Wild Kingdom is underway after the premiere webisode on Sunday evening. South Dakota native and Mutual of Omaha Wild Guide Stephanie Arne is the host of Wild Kingdom. She won the opportunity in a contest this summer. Arne says filming these episodes is like a dream come true.

"Well it’s been really exciting filming for the four webisodes over the last couple months and we are really really excited to share the incredible stories that we have. I went back to my roots in South Dakota so we could film the webisode, “Where the Buffalo Roam” and then we also got to explore the coral reefs in Florida," Arne says.

Arne says there is also a webisode surrounding the Tegu Lizard in Florida and another about the California Condor. The first webisode and season premiere revolves around the coral reefs in Florida. Arne says this webisode is one of her favorites because of the experiences she had while filming. She says each webisode is roughly six to seven minutes long. The wild guide host says she is excited to see the public’s reaction through her journey of telling stories with Wild Kingdom.
