State legislators concerned about the growing national debt and stagnation in Congress are planning for a constitutional convention. Fourteen South Dakota legislators attended a meeting in December in Mount Vernon, Virginia, along with 83 representatives of other states. SDPB’s Victoria Wicks went to a crackerbarrel this weekend in Rapid City and spoke with West River legislators about the proposed convention.
