The Bush Foundation is stepping in to help a local statewide fundraising effort reach its goal.
The Frontier Fund is a project started by a small group in Rapid City that aims to raise 125-thousand dollars for the state’s 125th anniversary.
The project is now halfway to its goal which organizers hope to achieve by November 2nd, the state’s birthday.
Local charities and organizations can apply for small grants that will be distributed from the funds raised.
The Bush Foundation is now matching every donation made dollar for dollar up through the fundraising deadline of November 2nd.
