Agencies looking for volunteers, and volunteers looking for a mission, can now find each other online in the Black Hills area. Helpline Center Volunteer Connections got its start in September and kicked off public awareness Thursday with an open house and ribbon cutting. Volunteer advocates in Rapid City tell Victoria Wicks that this service fills a gap for nonprofits that would never be able to afford to hire as many workers as they need.
