The book is published by the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, which is devoted to creating a healthy and sustainable food system. After a national search, The Black Hills Community Theatre has a new artistic director. We talk with Zach Curtis about how his decades of theater experience in the Twin Cities informs his new role in South Dakota.
Minneapolis based band Marah in the Mainsail is currently on a tour that takes them through parts of the Upper Midwest en route to South By Southwest in Austin, Texas. Their lone South Dakota concert is Thursday night at BIG's Bar in Sioux Falls. We preview their visit with a new song from the band called "Black Mamba."
