His recent article in the current issue of South Dakota history journal explores the role of Senator R.F. Pettigrew in national (and international politics) as the debate around the annexation of Hawaii unfolded.
Deadwood History, Incorporated and the Deadwood Historic Preservation Commission host a lecture by local historian, Larry Miller, at noon on Thursday at the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center.
