Brooke Gladstone is a Peabody-award-winning journalist and host of “On the Media.” She joins us to discuss her newest book, “The Trouble with Reality: A Rumination on Moral Panic in Our Time.” It’s a conversation about living in our personal “bubbles,” how stereotypes impact our worldview, and how a consensus regarding reality was always more vulnerable than we thought.
The University of South Dakota has received a grant from the National Science Foundation to develop the South Dakota Data Store. It’s a platform to enable data-intensive research and education. Doug Jennewein, USD’s Director of Research Computing joins us with the story.
Dr. Brad Tennant is Professor of History and the director for the American Studies program at Presentation College in Aberdeen. He’s written a reference book called “A Day in South Dakota History” that looks at significant moments in the politics, history, and culture of the state. He joins us from Aberdeen.
