How is global climate change poised to impact the state of South Dakota? A new study published in the journal “Science” outlines the economic impact of climate change in the U.S., county by county. The study looks at potential mortality rate, changes in labor productivity, energy demands, and crop yields. Joining us for analysis is William Capeheart, program director of the Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences Program at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and Jared McEntaffer, economist with South Dakota Dashboard and the Black Hills Knowledge Network.
