This year, Doctor Reuben Bareis (BAR rice) will be inducted into the South Dakota Hall of Fame. It's a nonprofit that recognizes a culture of excellence in the state. Bareis worked in geriatric medicine for more than 50 years and helped found one of Rapid City's early senior residence centers.
