Rosebud Sioux Tribe's Preparedness Plan

Rosebud Sioux Tribe

In The Moment ... April 28, 2020 Show 806 Hour 1

On March 13th, Rodney Bordeaux, president of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, issued an emergency declaration do to the Covid-19 virus. At that time, he expressed concern that his Tribe did not have access to CDC approved test kits. His concerns extended to the Tribe's elders and vulnerable members as he stated that the State had not made tests available to them.

We've invited Rodney Bordeaux to join us on In The Moment to discuss the Rosebud Sioux Tribe's preparedness plan and how it has been working, their ban on Federally funded travel, and whether they now have access to the test kits that they need.
