Chris (Sandvig) Dummermuth was a female pioneer for tennis in South Dakota, having success as both a collegiate athlete, when there was no women's team, and as a high school coach.
Her high school coaching resume includes eight state championships and a seven time recipient of the South Dakota high school tennis coach of the year award.
