Mike Thompson, J.D., returns with Supreme Court cases he's had his eye on. He is an associate professor of criminal justice at the University of Sioux Falls.

The three cases he discusses today include a death penalty case, a habeas corpus case and one on the term "exhausted" (5:29 to 29:08).

Plus, a look back on the COVID-19 pandemic from a public health perspective.

Elizabeth Rácz-Brunner, Ph.D., is the coordinator of the biology program and a senior lecturer at South Dakota Mines. She talks about how the public health field is different in 2025 compared to 2019 (29:08 to 43:45).
