On today's update...

State lawmakers are setting revenue projections for the current and coming fiscal years. The numbers anticipate continued growth. Some are not convinced.

The South Dakota Department of Health used 7 million dollars of federal funding to purchase one million Flow Flex brand COVID tests in January. After initial delays, the tests are available at pharmacies, schools, libraries, courthouses, airports and food banks free of charge.

South Dakota Senate Republicans are giving support to Gov. Kristi Noem’s proposal to allow employees to gain exemptions from their employer’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

House lawmakers are passing a bill that designates grassland above a certain elevation as non-cropland, regardless of soil type. Critics worry about shifting the tax base in some counties.

And more.
