Governor Kristi Noem is signing dozens of bills that tweak the state’s medical marijuana laws. The lion’s share of those bills come from a marijuana task force which met last year to comb over the 2020 voter-approved law.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has signed a bill she has promoted as a rejection of so-called critical race theory, even though the legislation is limited in scope.

Kristi Noem has signed a bill to wipe away state and county fees for concealed firearm permits.

Two Sioux Falls companies have some of the highest revenue growth in the Midwest.  That’s according to ratings from Inc Magazine. Its Midwest region includes South Dakota and 11 other states. 

The National Weather Service says any fears of an extended spring flooding season in the Red River Valley have been virtually eliminated thanks in large part to the area's soil-stained snow.
