Department of Public Safety officers say they were not allowed to give a presentation to an impeachment inquiry about a fatal crash involving the attorney general. That panel was investigating Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg’s conduct surrounding that fatal crash.

Republican state election officials in several states are having to defend their records as they face challengers from within their own party who either outright deny that Democrat Joe Biden won the presidency or raise unsubstantiated claims that elections are not secure.

The deadline for Democrats and Republicans to get on the 2022 ballot has passed, but it's not too late to register to vote. Voter registration deadlines are May 23rd for the primary election and October 24th for the general election.
