The state of South Dakota plans to pursue the death penalty against the man accused of killing a Moody County sheriff's deputy during a pursuit. Joseph Heok is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Deputy Ken Prorok.

A Hand County teenager whose disappearance sparked a massive search was found dead north of Miller Tuesday afternoon. Wyatt Rowland was reported missing early Sunday morning after hanging out with friends Saturday night.
