A Sioux Falls man is in custody after shooting another man because, "He touched a boy." Sioux Falls Police responded to a call asking to have an individual removed from her apartment.

A South Dakota Supreme Court decision says one interracial couple's divorce in tribal court is not valid. The key point of contention comes from a 1986 law that outlines when state courts can recognize a judgment or order from a tribal court.

The South Dakota Transportation Commission grants nearly $2 million to local bridge projects. The commission awarded 35 projects as part of the Bridge Improvement Grants (BIG) program.

The EPA grants nearly $8 million to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. They'll use the grant to install electric vehicle charging stations and buy electric buses and a heavy-duty electric garbage truck.
