The state Public Utilities Commissioners set Summit Carbon Solution's application maximum filing fee. Parties interested in intervening in the upcoming Summit hearing may have tighter restrictions.

The Public Utilities Commission approves a rate increase for Northwestern Energy's natural gas in South Dakota. Although Northwestern requested a 9.1 percent increase, the commission authorized the increase at 7 percent.

A dental office in Sioux Falls has a furry friend on staff to help people get through their visit with ease. His name is Tenner and he's a therapy dog.
