New polling data shows Governor Larry Rhoden is emerging as one of the most popular state executives in the Midwest. Gov. Rhoden currently holds a +34% net approval rating.

South Dakota’s small business owners are keeping an eye on new tariffs as they balance the risk of raising costs and maintaining loyal customers. Economists say the latest round of tariffs may lead to higher costs for electronics, clothing, and food.

The City of Sioux Falls is set to host its annual Big Sioux Stewardship Summit. The event brings together speakers and stakeholders in the community who work to better the Big Sioux River.

There is another major project in the wings at Pierre Regional Airport. At its most recent meeting, The Pierre City Commission approved the first step needed to relocate Taxiway C to be compliant with federal standards.
