Governor's Daughter Exits Administration To Persue MBA

Policy Analyst Kennedy Noem

One of Governor Kristi Noem’s policy analysts and close advisors is leaving.

Kennedy Noem, the governor’s daughter, says she’s moving to Tennessee to pursue a master’s degree in business administration.

Kennedy made the announcement Friday morning via Facebook. Conservative political blog Dakota War College shared the post.

She was the policy analyst and federal government liaison for the governor’s office. Kennedy also served as a field office director during Kristi Noem’s campaign for governor.

Kennedy was hired shortly after Kristi was elected as governor. In late 2019, Kennedy received a nearly $20,000 pay raise. She went from making $40,000 dollars a year, to $59,000 a year.
