Gov. Kristi Noem says her personal cell phone has been hacked following a federal data breach.
The governor’s social security number and other private information was mistakenly released in a recent report from the Jan. 6 Commission.
Noem said that breach led to her phone getting hacked. Her phone number is now being used to make hoax calls, according to a press release from the governor's office.
She previously called for the U.S. Attorney General to investigate the breach.
