The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe passed a resolution calling for an “immediate and lasting ceasefire in Palestine.”
The tribe says grassroots tribal citizens brought forth the resolution, which the tribal council passed during a session earlier this month.
Resolution 146 also includes six key points, including a demand for humanitarian aid and a guaranteed right-of-return for Palestinians. It also condemns the use of hospitals, schools, and refugee camps as military targets.
