South Dakota’s Chief Information Officer is leaving to serve in a similar position in Wyoming.
Jeff Clines has served as the CIO for the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications since 2020.
In that position Clines oversaw the state’s IT infrastructure and has made it a point to update the state’s technology systems.
Clines begins work as the CIO of the Department of Enterprise Technology Services in Wyoming on Sept. 9, according to a press release from Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon.
The South Dakota Bureau of Information and Telecommunications oversees SDPB.
