Polls open until 7 p.m. local time in South Dakota

Tuesday is election day as voters across the country head to the polls to make their voices heard.

In South Dakota, polls are open until 7 p.m. local time. The Secretary of State's office will begin releasing results after the last polls close.

SDPB News will have updates online and live coverage of results on SDPB radio throughout the evening. In addition, SDPB's In the Moment will have special live recap and analysis shows Wednesday at 9 a.m. CT/8 a.m. MT and noon CT/11 a.m. MT.
