SDPB HOSTS LOCAL VIRTUAL SCREENING OF “THE VOTE“

Join SDPB for a virtual screening of the new PBS documentary The Vote, from American Experience, Wednesday, July 1, at 7pm CT (6 MT). The event includes remarks from South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and a live Q&A with SDPB’s Jackie Hendry and USD history professor Molly Rozum, co-author of Equality at the Ballot Box: Votes for Women on the Northern Great Plains. The event includes a sneak peek at SDPB’s new documentary Simple Justice: Suffrage in South Dakota, which premieres August 10.
