Piper Cordes of Wall, South Dakota is the high school world champion in barrel racing for 2023. She claimed the title this past week at the national high school rodeo finals in Gillette, Wyoming. -
Every rodeo star begins their career with a big achievement – winning their first belt buckle. For Macy Maxwell of Dimock, it happened at the 4-H Heartland Rodeo in Huron on July 15th. -
Tragedy recently struck three families within the rodeo circle. At the 2023 state rodeo finals, a fundraiser event took place to show support to the families affected. -
In the Elshere family, rodeo runs in the blood. Thayne, a senior from Sturgis Brown High School, is one of five kids that belong to Lyndsay and J.J. Elshere of Hereford. -
