Excavation is complete for the caverns of the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment at the Sanford Underground Research Facility.

Yet, the experiment is years away from starting. Josh Willhite, project manager for the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility run by Fermilab, gives us an update ahead of SURF's Neutrino Day.

Plus, he describes just how huge these caverns are.
