Six days to Election Day: Amendment D, polls, and voter registration

Early voting is underway in South Dakota. Election Day is Tuesday. Voters will decide on Constitutional Amendment D. It's a measure to expand Medicaid in South Dakota. The amendment would allow adults ages 18 to 65 with income below 133 percent of the poverty level to be covered by Medicaid. Yesterday, proponents for Medicaid expansion made the case for a yes vote. Today, Jackie Hendry takes a closer look at the opposition.

One week from the election. The most recent polling data for the South Dakota gubernatorial race indicates incumbent Kristi Noem has pulled ahead of challenger Jamie Smith significantly.
