SD's First Lady says she's ready to listen to South Dakota

On today's show...

Tim Schorn, Ph.D., explores how the United States has turned the status quo on its head in terms of global relations. He is coordinator of international studies at the University of South Dakota (1:00 to 11:56).

First Lady Sandy Rhoden shares the initiatives she's focusing on in her new role. She previews a listening tour she may take that focuses on what's great about South Dakota's communities.

She also discusses life in the Rhoden household (11:56 to 32:16).

Plus, we check in with Sen. Chris Karr, President Pro Tempore of the South Dakota Senate. He covers a few successes from this session and the recent trio of bills he's pushing for (32:16 to 49:00).
