Dakota Valley Assists Tea Area After Titans Bus Gets Stuck

In every South Dakota high school gym, you’ll see a banner that encourages sportsmanship and respect for others. Friday morning, a real act of kindness occurred in Rapid City.

As winter weather made its way through the Black Hills on Thursday night, much of the west river metro area was covered in snow. In some areas, there was more snowfall than others.

The Tea Area High School team bus became stuck in a parking lot and was unable to move. That’s when Dakota Valley, another Dakota 12 Conference team decided to assist.

This is just one example of kindness that exists in South Dakota. Even though Tea Area and Dakota Valley may be opponents on the court, they’re teammates in the journey known as life.
