SDPB To Live Stream ‘B’ One Act Plays

State One Act Plays in B to be streamed live

South Dakota Public Broadcasting is proud to partner with both South Dakota State University and the South Dakota High School Activities Association to live stream the performances of the Class B State One-Act Play festival this year.

The 2021 State One-Act Play Festival has been modified from its initial plan. Originally, Brandon Valley was set to host the event in its entirety, but to keep up with COVID-19 protocols, the South Dakota High School Activities Association was forced to split the three classes into three separate locations. Now, Brandon Valley (AA), Rapid City Central (A), and SDSU in Brookings (B) will all host the festival.

Because of the restrictions on audience policies in Brookings, no spectators are allowed at the ‘B’ location. It’s this reason why an agreement was reached to live stream the performances at this location.

Here is the streaming schedule for both Friday and Saturday.
