The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls will host the 2022 state high school wrestling championships on Thursday – Saturday this week (February 24-26) with two boys divisions and a girls division all taking place under the same roof.

This year’s state wrestling tournament event will look slightly different than recent past. Last year, Class A and Class B were split up due to COVID protocols. It was also the first year of sanctioned girls wrestling in South Dakota. This year, Thursday and Friday will consist of the individual portion of the event, while all of the Team Duals action will take place on Saturday.

As for the live television broadcast portion, Friday’s championship coverage of the individual tournament and Saturday’s Team Dual championship matches will air live on SDPB1-TV.
