Travel South Dakota has announced 23 "Rooster Rush" grant opportunities for communities across the state. Eligible communities will receive promotional materials for pheasant hunting.

- Fort Pierre
- Huron
- Ipswich
- Madison
- Milbank
- Miller
- Mitchell
- Mobridge
- Pierre
- Platte
- Plankinton
- Presho
- Pukwana
- Redfield
- Sioux Falls
- Watertown
- White Lake/ Stickney
- Winner
Grants are limited to up to $500 per community.
"Rooster Rush is designed to put a spotlight on South Dakota's pheasant hunting - the best hunting in the world," said South Dakota Department of Tourism Jim Hagen.
Participating communities have the opportunity to enter to win Travel South Dakota's Cacklin' Community Award.
The winning community will be announced at the annual Governor's Conference on Tourism in January.
