How to watch 2023 SDHSAA state football championships

The ‘Road to the Dome’ has reached its conclusion once again as fourteen teams have punched their tickets to play for a state championship. All seven classes of high school football in South Dakota will be in action this week on Thursday-Saturday, November 9-11.

Much like previous years, every game will air live on television and stream live online as well.

Thursday
Class 9B: No.1 Avon vs No. 2 Faulkton Area – 10 am CT
Class 9A: No. 1 Warner vs No. 7 Deubrook Area – 2 pm CT
Class 9AA: No. 1 Parkston vs No. 3 Howard – 7 pm CT
Friday
Class 11B: No. 4 Elk Point-Jefferson vs No. 6 Hot Springs – 10 am CT
Class 11A: No. 1 Dell Rapids vs No. 2 West Central – 2 pm CT
Class 11AA: No. 1 Pierre vs No. 2 Yankton – 7 pm CT
Saturday
Class 11AAA: No. 1 Sioux Falls Lincoln vs O’Gorman – 7:30 pm CT

All seven games will air live on SDPB1-TV, stream live online at sdpb.org/football, and be broadcast live on YouTube as well. 

The Dakota Dome in Vermillion has played host to the state football championships since 1981.

Nate Wek is currently the sports content producer and sports and rec beat reporter for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. He is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism Broadcasting and a minor in Leadership. From 2010-2013 Nate was the Director of Gameday Media for the Sioux Falls Storm (Indoor Football League) football team.
