Sioux Falls philanthropist Denny Sanford is donating $25,000,000 to the Great Plains Zoo and the Butterfly House & Aquarium.

The Museum of Geology, the Butterfly House & Aquarium, the Children’s Museum of South Dakota and the South Dakota Discovery Center are participating in the program.

The Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium are now united. They recently announced their new Sioux Falls Zoo & Aquarium board of directors.
