As the state prepares for the arrival of the B-21 Bombers to Ellsworth Air Force Base – the local school district predicts needing a new elementary school. More than $2 billion has already been invested in infrastructure at Ellsworth Air Force Base in preparation of the new B-21 Bomber.

As Ellsworth Airforce base is tasked with housing the new B-21 bomber, a select committee of legislators asked what they need from the state. The B-21 Raider will have both conventional and nuclear capabilities.

Under the shadow of Ellsworth Air Force Base sits Douglas High, home to a large Air Force ROTC program. For the aspiring airmen and airwomen, a new tool gets them that much closer to their wings.
