For the first time since 1994, the state team gymnastics champion in Class is someone other than Deuel or Madison. On Friday night, Estelline/Hendricks took over the top spot to win the state title.

The team portion of the 2023 SDHSAA state gymnastics meet took place on Friday February 10th.

In today’s world, there are many different levels and tiers surrounding gymnastics - from youth to adult. In South Dakota, high school gymnastics can be traced back to the ’50s and '60s with girls participating, and even earlier in some instances with boys gymnastics.
