Jayme Kilburn

An upcoming play at the Black Hills Community Theater follows the academic Dr. Katherine Brandt, who is battling Lou Gehrig's disease. As Brandt faces the end of her life, she finds herself driven on a quest to understand why the frequently ill and profoundly deaf Beethoven spent the last years of his life composing "Variations on a Waltz by A. Diabelli."
