Saxophonist Brian Hanegan is the Director of Jazz Studies and Assistant Professor of Music at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He directs the Northlanders Jazz Ensemble, Northlanders Jazz Combo, and coordinates the annual Jazz on the Upper Great Plains Festival. He joined us in our Sioux Falls Studios.

The JAS Quintet joined Jazz Nightly for a live performance in the SDPB Sioux Falls studios with new music from the band’s second album, “Bird Ritual Interrupted.”
